One Bad Apple ... Well, let me finish the headline... One bad apple spoils the bunch. That's certainly the case at SRAX. Namely, the COO. To be frank, I'm not sure how someone so incapable of being decent can be promoted to any leadership position, much less a C-level one. You're probably chomping at the bits for some details so here they go... Comes up with an idea for a new product, goes on an employee acquisition spree only to realize he didn't think things through (can't really say more than that) - inept. Walks in every morning without so much as a 'Good Morning' or a 'Hello' and leaves without saying bye ... most of the time - small things, which take away from overall culture/mood... incapable of being a decent person. No HR dept here which leaves culture as one of the responsibilities that rolls up to the COO. This guy takes away from culture - kills good ideas (because he knows better than the other 5 folks in the room), doesn't like collaboration if it isn't convenient for him, asks employees to 'spy' on one another, etc. There is no culture, just good people who are really happy when the COO isn't in the office. Pretends to be a liberal socialist, but will not pay staff market value - you get it. He's totally content with the revolving door of employees because he positions all exits as "I would've fired them anyway" - what a joke, they were on their way out 3 months into their role... The organization is sales heavy to the detriment of the execution side of things. Results are unhappy clients and angry sales people.'
