Outside sales rep I worked here for a complete year and hated every minute of it. Started off by going through 3 months of training which was a headache. Most of the employees working at Ameri-Seal are very frustrated and underpaid. Working under stress almost every day so they would clash with other employees all the time. Their HR would constantly come up with issues related to mistreating women. It could be as simple as addressing an issue with a client or a faulty order but a guy will be at fault no matter what he says to a female.If you are a male employee and you want to consider this position, think twice. The company pays a 30k base salary and commissions. A new employee wouldn't make any commissions till 6 months into the position. They hold you fully responsible for your territory but have other employees be involved in the sales cycle. Should you come across any order issues, you will be fully penalized and held accountable for and others will not have to deal with it no matter what they did. The owner is supposed to go see your clients with you when you travel far but he always cancels due to his illnesses and knee issues yet still expects to meet goals. They request you to forecast the business and grow it every year but their clients are being steered away by very competitive companies that offer the same product for a reasonable price. This is a family-owned business, and there is no room for growth. you are expected to work from 6 AM in the morning till 6 PM in the evening while traveling to see clients within CA and you are expected to be an inbound salesman who makes 50-60 calls a day. Your assistant who is a customer service agent will have more control than you in the game. Even the company receptionist will have more control than you. I used to work with the brother of the Owner of this company who quit the position himself due to being mistreated. I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone in the right state of mind.
