Run as fast as you can ..... The CEO is crazy. The company does not care about its employees unless you are one of the favorites. The pay is below average for the industry.

I loved supporting Alba and the C Level Executive team. I give the four as recognize that the culture of every company is different and not everyone is as open to the diversity of ideas that Alba fosters with intentionality in some respects; nor is everyone prepared for the direct non nonsense honest communicaiton with accountability and emphazis on excellence that Alba and her leadership team provide. Think of the best in any field. They are not always the easist folks to work with because of high standards that are unwavering, with a bit of inflexibility in accepting sub par work. That is the culture of Citizant. It is a place which demand excellence, and while Citizant is also a place that does nurture growth, its fast pace and the constant sense of urgency is not the environment for everyone. Alba is a type A person and those who are like that thrive there. But with intention she makes effort to understand others! You have to be able to rise to the challenges when at Citizant and speak up to let your needs be know. If you do that you will be heard. Alba is a stong personality and I happen to love her direct style. She also invests time in the development of others through her years of support of various entites. I do think that her company does genuinely care about their employees, perhaps more than others. I find Alba emphazises creating safe spaces for communicaiton when there are cutlural things going on in our world that could impact people emotionally. She does not ignore the world we are in and compartmentalize expecting everyone to leave their self and their lives at the door when come to work. She does allow room for processing the big things that have been affecting our world in recent years. When COVID hit Alba immediately set about finding manufacturers of masks to send to hospitals in NYC. I mean like the week it hit and was known as she was in touch with family there at ground zero. That is the kind of person she is, who deeply cares about the world around her and acts to help others not because it is a marketing ploy to look good but out of genuine concern. I find her commitment to D&I for example to be genuine and not some "best practice" in business for short term just because it might help the bottom line. For her it seems more the ethics of the right thing to do. Most of all, I loved that I trusted the foundation of her company was build on ethical decisions.
