So Ridiculous Sometimes I Felt like I Was Being Punk'd Interns are treated like literal dirt. Very little work to do, lots of checking email over and over just to keep busy. Was frequently yelled at and scolded for things as little as holding coffee cups the wrong way. There were some days I didn't think I'd make it through because the job was so degrading. Stipend pay was so little it didn't even cover lunch let alone subway. Great job for privileged kids with a thick skin.
