Stagnant Management with No Clear Direction
Product development that is based on needs for the Japanese market. Wanted feedback on product development for North American market but nothing ever happened in terms of new product development to support US sales. Need to focus on developing better motion controllers (multi-axis) and interfaces to round out product offering to be a true player in motion control. If nothing else, partner with someone who has those products already to better support customers and be more than just a motor supplier. Training is adequate in terms of the product, but is severely lacking in terms of understanding competitors or how their product fits into a larger automation system. Be prepared to educate yourself or go somewhere else to learn. Compensation is in-line with entry level sales engineers but there is very little salary advancement without moving into a limited number of management spots. Company bonus is a joke- beyond not being comparable to other similar companies, it is always subject to management changing last minute and does absolutely nothing to reward high achievers. One of the biggest reasons for high turnover in my opinion.
