Terrible company run by terrible people TLDR: Bad pay, no benefits, terrible management, abusive workplace, illegal activities and lack of respect for customers or employees. Where to begin? The management are terrible human beings. When I was working there it was run by two brothers. So if you have a problem with management who are you going to go to? They're brothers. When I worked for the company they had an office in Lawndale and went by the name Advanced Roofing Solutions. Then they moved to a location near LAX with a much much higher rent I'm sure. So some examples of their terrible business practices: They prioritized appointments for new clients after it rained instead of existing customers that supposedly had their leaks repaired, who were calling back in with continued leaks. Once they ran a bunch of client's credit cards without permission for final payments, when customers had held off their final payment as a protest to get the leak fixed if it failed a final "leak test." It got so bad that American Express stopped doing business with them due to all the customer complaints they were getting. I once saw the shorter brother literally yell at a CS rep for a mistake...two weeks after having come back from maternity leave. And she'd only taken a week off of maternity leave. They tried to get me to accept a "salary" position with health care benefits so they could avoid paying me over time, and I would have to do lots of over time to get all my work done since we were always understaffed as no one would ever last more than a year. When i looked up the law on over time pay I saw that even if you're salary you still have to be paid over time unless you're a manager overseeing at least two employees. When I brought that up to the taller brother during my annual review he pretended like he didn't know the labor law and then rescinded the offer of benefits. No surprise, I was "laid off" soon thereafter. They hired illegal immigrants and would sometimes transport them across state lines from CA to AZ if one location was busier than the other. The shorter brother often yelled at his employees in disparaging manners. I was there many years ago and looking at the most recent reviews, it's clear that these clowns are still up to their same antics. They're literally disgusting, terrible human beings. No one should ever work under the conditions these two monsters create. I can only take solace in their continued struggles. I hope you two morally bankrupt individuals also have your business go bankrupt.
