Terrible Office Environment and Ethic Far Outweighs the Benefits of Free Lunches and Early Fridays.
Unfortunately this is one of the most indecisive and tumultuous companies I have worked for. Projects get started and stopped abruptly for no good reason, resulting in barely any conclusive data to move forward. The environment is constantly peppered with loud slander (at times using very extreme wordage) of clients, partners, and colleagues alike. That not only was a factor that made productivity very difficult, it also quickly eroded any possible trust I could have of my employer. The manner in which office environment was created was unprofessional masquerading as comfortable friendship. While they put up a polished front before clients, it is unfortunate that behind the backs of (almost) anyone, the shocking rudeness almost never fails to emerge. In addition, employees were being hired and fired on a whim, one after the boss realised that she didn't need someone in that position after less than a month, which could only lead me to conclude that the hiring process was poorly conceived. There was little room for discussion and dialogue for the direction of one's role and more often than not an employee would be talked at rather than talked to.
