Outside of work, Cory Powers is actively involved in various charitable organizations. He supports causes such as the Folds of Honor Foundation, Easterseals Community and Disability Services, Heifer International, and the Epilepsy Foundation of America. Through these philanthropic efforts, he contributes to scholarships for military and first responder families, advocates for individuals with disabilities, fights against poverty and hunger, and supports epilepsy research.
He cherishes his marriage of 18 years and the joy of raising his four daughters and one son. They recently moved to Sarasota to be closer to extended family members. As a family, they actively participate in sports activities such as basketball, football, club volleyball, and soccer. They are also avid supporters of the Georgia Bulldogs football team.
In his leisure time, he enjoys walking and spending time on the beautiful beaches of Sarasota, known for their pristine sands and clear waters. He finds solace in embracing nature and pursuing his hobbies and interests.
