Officer Ian King is a proud Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy graduate, having completed the intensive 20-week training course only a few months after turning 21. Passionate about law enforcement since childhood, King knew from an early age that he wanted to pursue a career in this field.
Aside from his duties as a highway patrol officer, King is a lifelong artist with a particular love for mixed media work. His artistic talent has won him numerous accolades, with his graffiti-inspired pieces receiving high praise and appearing in various publications. In addition to his artistic pursuits, King actively supports several charities and nonprofit organizations, including the Ohio-based law enforcement charity The Shield.
Born in 1993 in southwestern Ohio, King grew up alongside his two identical brothers and their older sister in Beavercreek. He remains close to his family and enjoys spending time with them, particularly when they're golfing together.
Aside from golf, King has several other hobbies and interests, including aircraft spotting, cycling, and motocross. He also has a deep appreciation for music, particularly the electronica genre.
In his free time, King frequently volunteers for community-focused charitable initiatives in and around Cincinnati, where he is currently based. His passion for law enforcement and commitment to giving back to his community has made him a valuable asset to the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the people of Ohio.
