Spencer Klavsons, a native of Flemington, New Jersey, has carved a distinctive path in Lake Forest, Illinois, characterized by his persistent determination and a deep-seated passion for learning. His transition from New Jersey to Lake Forest in 2010 marked the start of a notable phase at Deer Path Middle School. His dedication made a mark there, especially excelling in wrestling, rugby, and football, demonstrating his solid athletic skills. His commitment to sports continued through his tenure at Lake Forest High School until his family moved to Mendham, NJ, following his sophomore year.
His relentless pursuit of growth and excellence shone through at West Morris Mendham High School. He engaged in football, lacrosse, and wrestling, showcasing his diverse athletic abilities and a steadfast commitment to continuous improvement.
After graduating high school in 2014, he embarked on a new academic and personal journey at the University of Colorado, Boulder. This period also marked the beginning of his experience as a pet owner, with a Siberian Husky and, later, Sullivan, a St. Bernard-Golden Retriever mix. Initially pursuing engineering, Klavsons's unquenchable thirst for knowledge steered him towards a major in economics, leading to a BA in the field.
After graduation, he pursued a career as a personal trainer, obtaining certification from the National Academy for Sports Medicine (NASM), where he excelled in aiding clients to reach their fitness goals. His professional path shifted to the beverage industry when he joined King Juice in 2021 as a Lab Technician in Quality Assurance for Calypso Lemonade/King Juice Inc. His dedication and hard work led to his promotion to Business Development Specialist, and he was honored as 'Employee of the Month' in May 2023 for his exceptional performance in sales. He manages operations in five states, contributing significantly to the company's growth.
His diverse hobbies include hiking, exercising, and downhill skiing, where he earned a silver medal in NASTAR racing. He is also committed to community service, volunteering as a teaching assistant at the West Morris County Arts Workshop in New Jersey, where he supports children's education in English, science, and art.
