He is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Gravity Strategic Partners, a business consultancy that provides strategic advice on public relations, business strategy, and capital market investing. He also serves as President and CEO of his family's real estate business, Leisure Properties, and offers financial and business guidance to startups.
Charles spent his formative years along the picturesque shores of Newport Beach, California, where he spent countless hours enjoying the coastal scenery and observing surfers riding the waves. A standout student at University High School in Irvine, he graduated Summa Cum Laude and excelled as an athlete. He earned Eagle Scout status, demonstrating leadership and commitment. His academic path took him to Georgetown University, where he gained valuable insights into political economics and global economic systems, which would later prove invaluable in his career on Wall Street.
After completing his education, Charles began his career in financial consulting, initially serving as an Executive Director in the equity capital division of a significant wealth management firm. He later founded Gravity Strategic Partners, which serves public and private companies, institutional investors, and family offices. In his career, Charles has managed over 1,000 transactions, raising more than $1 trillion in capital, including 500 IPOs for some of the world's most prominent companies.
Charles also holds advisory roles with Tagup, an AI startup serving the military and large industries, and Surf Air, a Los Angeles-based aviation marketplace focused on electric aircraft. He is passionate about philanthropy and invests in restaurant ventures, always looking to support entrepreneurs with his financial expertise. An avid wine collector and enthusiast, Charles is deeply involved in the global wine community, facilitating key partnerships between producers, collectors, and restaurants.
