Drew Doscher is a finance professional with over 30 years of experience on Wall Street. He is renowned for his expertise in distressed debt and credit markets. He has played pivotal roles at major firms such as Lehman Brothers, UBS, Barclays, and Jefferies, consistently demonstrating his ability to transform challenges into strategic opportunities and helping smaller companies achieve substantial growth.

Born and raised in Stuyvesant Town, New York, Drew initially considered a career in law enforcement before pivoting to finance after graduating from the College of Holy Cross in 1991. His financial career commenced in the back office of a financial firm, quickly transitioning to the trading floor. His early years were shaped at Oppenheimer & Co., where he was mentored by Jon Bauer, a notable figure who introduced him to distressed bond and loan markets.

In 1995, Drew joined Lehman Brothers, where he refined his skills under Tom Bernard, who was known for his stringent business approach. In 2001, he moved to UBS, where he was tasked with establishing a global distressed trading business. This initiative, new to the firm in the U.S. and Europe, flourished under his leadership, positioning UBS as a key player in distressed markets.

Drew’s career progressed at Barclays in 2006 under Bob Diamond. As Managing Director, he spearheaded the development of a global distressed debt business, enhancing the firm's capabilities across the U.S. and Europe. After the financial crisis of 2008, Drew joined the Seaport Group in 2009, transforming it from a modest-sized firm to Seaport Global. Under his leadership, the company expanded significantly, growing its team and revenue.

His successful tenure at Seaport attracted the attention of Jefferies, which was recovering from a scandal. Drew was tasked with rebuilding its reputation and business, a challenge he met by building a new team and restructuring operations. His efforts ensured that the department remained efficient and respected.

In 2017, Drew joined BTIG to build a credit business from the ground up. Despite the firm's lack of experience in credit markets, it successfully expanded its operations into Europe, strengthening its market position. He replicated this success at StoneX, a firm known for its commodities work, by establishing a credible credit business that expanded into new markets.

Throughout his career, Drew has managed major financial restructurings, including those of Enron, WorldCom, and Lehman Brothers, and has navigated complex situations like Bernard Madoff's scandal. Known as the “honest guy in a dishonest business,” he has maintained a reputation for transparency and integrity, always providing clear and direct advice to clients.

In addition to his financial acumen, Drew has contributed to his community, notably restoring the Montauk Playhouse. His professional and personal achievements have established Drew Doscher as a respected figure in the finance industry, and he is admired for his expertise, leadership, and ethical standards.
