He later joined the Las Vegas Locomotives in the United Football League, contributing to the team’s championship victory.
David grew up in Imlay City, Michigan, excelling in basketball, football, and track. He earned All-State honors in basketball and set school and county records in track events. In high school, he scored over 60 touchdowns on the football field, demonstrating his athleticism and versatility. After high school, he attended Grand Valley State University, where he helped lead the team to its first National Championship and set several NCAA records.
