Andrew Byer Attorney born in Jersey City, New Jersey, in 1962, experienced a culturally enriched upbringing under the guidance of his Italian immigrant mother. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University in 1984, where he also embraced the opportunity to study abroad in France, enhancing his global perspective.
After earning his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 1987, Andrew began his professional journey in South Florida. One of his first roles involved managing leases and tenant relations as Lease Administrator and Legal Counsel at Miracle Marketplace shopping mall in Coral Gables. These early responsibilities gave him invaluable experience managing complex legal negotiations and tenant interactions.
In 1990, Andrew transitioned towards international business as the Director of Operations for Maria Pia, an Italian shoe manufacturer winding down its U.S. presence. His fluency in Italian and comprehensive understanding of global business law were crucial in navigating the company's closure in the U.S. market. He expanded his expertise in international dealings from 1991 to 1994 as General Counsel and Director of International Sales at Intracorp, Inc., a video game software company. There, he successfully negotiated licensing agreements with Hollywood studios, helping to transform popular films into video games and expanding the company’s international reach.
In 1994, Andrew established the Law Offices of Andrew Alexander Byer, utilizing his vast experience in international law and business. The firm quickly gained a reputation for providing exceptional legal and strategic advice to European companies looking to penetrate the U.S. market, benefiting greatly from Andrew's linguistic skills and international insight.
Later, in 2007, Andrew pursued his passion for high-fidelity audio by founding Magnum Opus Audio, a boutique specializing in premium audio and home theater systems in Fort Lauderdale. As the retail environment evolved, he shifted his business focus toward real estate, establishing AJ&J Holdings, LLC, and in 2024, Bozhlona, Inc., a firm specializing in property management.
