William David Wilcox, commonly known as David Wilcox, is the Managing Member of Evolution Metals LLC. He was instrumental in steering the company through a significant merger with Welsbach Technology Metals Acquisition Corp., which resulted in the new entity Evolution Metals & Technologies Corp. (EM&T).
David Wilcox graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and a postgraduate degree in International Business from St. Mary’s University in England. His career began at Deutsche Bank as a derivatives trading specialist, where he led teams across London and New York, enhancing the bank’s value by adeptly navigating global regulatory changes.
Upon completion of the merger, William David Wilcox Jr. will serve as the Executive Chairman of the Board at EM&T, leveraging his extensive experience in global finance and strategic leadership to guide the company’s future.
Since 2015, Wilcox has proactively identified opportunities to innovate within the critical minerals and materials sectors, mainly focusing on mitigating China's market dominance. His vision for EM&T includes establishing an independent supply chain to enhance industry resilience and counter geopolitical risks.
Wilcox’s strategic plan for EM&T involves assembling a top-tier leadership team, securing capital, and addressing operational and geopolitical challenges. This comprehensive approach aims to position EM&T as a major player in the critical materials industry, pivotal in an era of increasing global tensions and ongoing impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Wilcox intends for EM&T to serve as a robust U.S.-based solution that disrupts China’s dominance in the critical materials sector, reducing American industries' dependency on Chinese suppliers.
Under his guidance, EM&T will use proven technologies and pursue strategic acquisitions to enhance its operational infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability. This strategy positions EM&T as a formidable global materials supply chain force under Wilcox’s leadership.
