Located in Hanover, New Hampshire, Peter Lee Coker received extensive schooling and gained worldly experience. He decided to transfer during his undergraduate years, leaving the Ivy League school behind to attend a valued academic facility in the South, North Carolina State University. As a current resident of Chapel Hill, Coker often recalls the opportunities and chances provided to him by the university he loved.

Peter Lee Coker graduated North Carolina State University in 1966 with a degree in the Bachelor of Arts program. During his time in Raleigh, he fell in love with the South and felt an overwhelming sense of support and encouragement. Coker decided to continue his education, continuing as a graduate student. While the university permitted him to taste different areas of scholarship, it also enabled him to discover a newfound acknowledgement and appreciation of sports. By 1967, Coker was appointed as the Freshman Basketball Coach for the university’s team. The basketball team continues to hold a special place in his heart today, and he values the contributions he was able to make while coaching.

Finally, in 1968, Peter Lee Coker received the ultimate honor in his education, as he graduated from North Carolina State University once again. However, this time he held a Master’s Degree in Economics. The university provided him with an abundant amount of financial knowledge and thorough understanding of the economic market. Because of this support and teaching, Coker was able to explore many areas of the business world.

Immediately following his graduation from the university, Peter Lee Coker began to look at job opportunities in the market, wasting no time. Shortly after, he received an impressive position at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation as the assistant vice president of the company pension fund. Needless to say, Coker was proud to work with such an accomplished and historical organization. He accumulated valuable experience with the notable company, added impressive content to his portfolio in terms of diversity and responsibility, and assisted in the investment of assets. With two decades of experience under his belt, Peter Lee Coker made the tough decision to sell American Asset Management Company Inc. when he was ready to take his career to even higher places. He then became the managing director at Capital Investment Partners, a prestigious banking firm located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Moving back to the South reinforced Coker’s love of the region, and he was also able to aid multiple companies in financial planning.

As an experienced founder of several companies, Peter Lee Coker offers helpful advice to beginning entrepreneurs who hope to own and successfully operate their own businesses. He suggests seeking the services of a financial consultant who will be able to determine how to launch a business correctly and to make a firm plan for future stability. Coker also points out that it’s important to consider all financing options in today’s world, as launching companies in the current competitive business world can cost more than ever and require additional funds. Finally, he mentions that targeting specific customers while expanding customer base overall will help a new company to thrive.

As for the future of Peter Lee Coker, the possibilities are nearly endless. While he is a successful entrepreneur, he may dabble in other areas, opening yet another effective business that allows him to use his skills and talents while helping clients and customers achieve their goals and objects. In his love for the South, he has become a lifelong resident, and his education there molded the man he is today. He will continue to offer advice in the form of financial consulting, possibly expanding his customer base beyond the United States and Asia to other areas.

He continues to pay it forward, contributing to his community whenever he can, and he will remain active in such charities. In hopes of sharing his educational background and understanding, he will offer insight, creative ideas, and effective plans of execution to aid these charities and organizations in their goals.
