David Seserman has decades of attorney at law experience.
As an experienced litigator on human resources issues, employment, and other areas, David Seserman has a proven successful track record. He is responsible for representing clients in disputes from consumer fraud and securities derivatives to software licensing and class action litigation. He has intensive courtroom experience in both federal and state courts.

Throughout his career, Seserman has successfully tried countless bench and jury trials dealing with contingency fee cases with awards tallying over $1,000,000. As a trial attorney with a focus in human resources and employment, David Seserman utilizes his sales background to settle cases. He is also experienced in civil litigation cases involving complex commercial real estate, insurance coverage, taxation, and natural resources disputes.

Other than trying cases, his background in sales and journalism has helped him reach his current status. He earned his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law where he also worked as the business editor for the school’s law review.

Presently, Seserman is admitted to practice law in Colorado, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Tenth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Arapahoe County, Denver, Colorado, and the American Bar Associations. Most recently, he was a practicing lawyer with Seserman & Associates in Denver, Colorado, and Gorsuch Kirgis for almost 20 years before that. He is also an active philanthropist in his community and a member of a number of professional organizations.
David Seserman earned his bachelor of science in business administration from the Washington University in St. Louis in 1980. WUSTL is a private research institution located in the heart of St. Louis, Missouri. It has more than 14,000 students apply for admission every year and is considered one of the top schools in the Midwest.

David earned is J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law in 1986. Known as the Sturm College of Law, this school is constantly ranked as one of the top law programs in the nation. Its curriculum currently focuses on legal writing, international law, natural resources disputes, and other technical forms of litigation. While at the University of Denver College of Law, he served as the Denver University Law Review’s business editor. University journals are a great way for students to become involved in their fields, and they help them accumulate skills in editing, writing, and communication in general.

After earning his J.D., David Seserman was admitted to the bar in the state of Colorado. He is also a member of the following bar associations:

-United States District Court for the District of Colorado
-United States Court of Appeals (Fifth and Tenth Circuits)
-United States Supreme Court

Law Career

Prior to practicing law, David Seserman worked in sales. His time spent in this sector prepared him for courtroom trials because he gained a better understanding of how jurors (i.e. potential buyers) react to different persuasion techniques. This experience helped him develop a fresh perspective for every case he works on, a perk that carries over to his ability to stay focused on the case at hand.

Most people, for instance, have heard the same sales pitch a thousand times. For attorneys, nothing in a case is new information; they know everything they are going to say from the discovery process. To be effective, however, lawyers have to pitch ideas they are familiarized with to a fresh jury. Doing so with enthusiasm is difficult, though a background in sales is a positive way to generate new perspectives.

He opened a sales branch in Houston, Texas, when he turned 22 and was responsible for hiring and managing 10 employees. After obtaining his JD, he went on to work for a handful of law firms in Colorado.

Community Service

Throughout his career, David has been involved in a number of professional and philanthropic organizations. As an alumnus of Washington University in St. Louis, he is an active member of the alumni association. He co-chaired the 20th, 25th, and 30th reunions, was the Colorado Chapter President for 11 years, and has been a member of the Colorado Regional Cabinet since 1999.

He was also active in the American Jewish Community in the Colorado region. He began as a member of the executive board in 1991 and, in 2009, became both the regional board president and a member of the national board of governors.

As an experienced professional in human resources, he also became a member of the MH-SHRM (Mile High, Society for Human Resource Management), formerly known as the CHRA. The Mile High organization is comprised of professionals, business leaders, and experts in human resources. The organization is, essentially, a voice for HR departments and workers in the Denver area. The Mile High organization is concerned with professional networking, development, and providing the HR industry with up-to-date information on the profession. David Seserman has been the co-volunteer coordinator for the organization since early 2013.

David is was involved with the Colorado Planning & Zoning Commission for the city of Greenwood Village. He was the commissioner from 2002 to 2012 and the chair for six years. Following is a list of some other organizational positions he has held throughout the years:

-Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado, Co-Chair of the Cardozo Society since 2008
-Chapter President of The Law Club in 2004
-Sundance Hills Homeowners Association, President and other executive positions

David Seserman also became an alumni board member of the 50 for Colorado Leadership Development Program in 1996.
With a well-rounded career as an attorney, David Seserman looks forward to developing his practice and building up his own firm. He concentrates on modern, complex cases and is working on publishing articles related to his focus on the liquidation and dissolution of law firms.

He is also looking forward to tackling future litigation cases dealing with human resources and employment lawsuits. His niche experience in negotiation, executive compensation, severance agreements, and other feuds involving employment relationships have prepared him for just this.

With time spent in both state and federal courts, David currently concentrates on litigation. He does, however, understand the pros and cons of alternative dispute resolution and is a trained mediator. Mediation, for example, is when both parties involved with a dispute meet outside of a courtroom to meet a mutual decision. Law professionals act as facilitators until a final agreement is met. Arbitration, on the other hand, is when a neutral hears out both sides of a case and makes a final decision.

Litigation, of course, has its own merits. In these cases, the underdog is able to expose large corporations in the public eye. Handling juries, judges, and the process takes years of practice; Seserman, throughout his career, has perfected the art of litigation. He has also done extensive work on wrongful discharge, misappropriation of intellectual property, disability, employment contracts, age discrimination, FLSA, ERISA, and Title VII claims. As a partner with Brosseau Bartlett Seserman, LLC, David has already resolved countless cases involving employment and human resources. David Seserman attorney will continue to serve his clients with topnotch litigation skills and dedication.
