Cyndia Meierdiercks is a senior client executive with IBM.
Cyndia Meierdiercks is a woman who wears many hats. As a top executive at IBM, she plays a key role in shaping one of the top IT companies in existence—and thus, the IT vertical itself. More broadly, she is a seasoned sales and client relations expert, and she brings to her work a true passion for the total client experience. On top of these professional appointments, she is also a devoted wife and mother.

Through her work at IBM, Meierdiercks has proven herself to be nothing if not passionate about providing a totally satisfying and immersive experience for the client. In fact, she seeks to help clients through a staggeringly long list of service offerings and unique IBM products, among them: global experience in IT strategizing, governance, technology and architecture, AMS/AIS, BCRS, cloud computing, security and compliance, network optimization, network management, facility services, EUA, technology rollouts, technology refreshes, mobility solutions, hosted services, infrastructure and platforms solutions—and, of course, software!

She is proud of the work done by her company. IBM is an American multinational technology and consulting company, headquartered in New York. The company makes and markets computer hardware and software alike, and offers such services as infrastructure, hosting and consulting services.

Cyndia Meierdiercks is passionate about her work but she cares even more about her own family; she is not only a loving and devoted wife and mother, but she loves spending time with her family.
Truly, Cyndia Meierdiercks lives a rich and rewarding life. She is exceptionally good at what she does for a living, as an executive in her industry. On top of that, she has been happily married for more than three decades, has children whom she is devoted to and has a large family that includes multiple siblings. She is a philanthropist and an advocate, as well, speaking out with great passion about issues close to her heart.

Cyndia is involved with a number of philanthropic groups and charities. One cause that she cares a great deal about is breast cancer research. Meierdiercks and her sister organized not one but two 'Ride to Live' Motorcycle Rally fundraisers, in 2007 and in 2008. She continues to do much in the way of cancer advocacy and education, and in fact it was because of her life story that she was asked to host the annual survivor dinner for the American Cancer Society.
In addition, Cyndia had the privilege of launching the 2006 American Cancer Society Making Strides 5k Walk in Cincinnati.

Cystic fibrosis is another issue that is close to her heart. Meierdiercks is a staunch supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, particularly its Cincinnati chapter. She sponsored fundraising events on a yearly basis from 2009 through 2012.

A final note about her advocacy work is that she is devoted to raising awareness regarding Autism / Asperger’s, and for providing a wider range of support services for those with this condition. Her passion stems from the fact that her own brother has Asperger’s. Cyndia's philanthropic actions matter to her a great deal.

Finally, there is her career. Cyndia Meierdiercks has worked in the Cincinnati division of IBM since 2011 as a senior account executive focusing on the total client experience. Before she came to IBM, she was a major accounts director for the Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company. She worked there from 2001 through 2011. At this position, Meierdiercks was responsible for new business acquisitions and revenues, from a module of 40 defined major accounts. She was a top performer within the company multiple years running and had the honor of attending President’s Club on several occasions.

Her career history also encompasses some time spent as a new business development manager for Norstan Communications. Her tenure here was lengthy, encompassing the years 1987 through 2000. Some of her time at this company involved work as an engineer as well. In fact, she has a fairly technical background, including engineering and PBX design positions at ROLM and Siemens in California.

Her past is rich, her future looks bright—but Cyndia Meierdiercks chooses to focus on the present, spending as much time as she can with her family while also pouring herself into her career and her advocacy work alike.
What does the future hold in store for Cyndia Meierdiercks? It is impossible to predict what tomorrow holds with anything approaching certainty, of course, but she does have a number of goals and objectives, both professional and personal. Her professional goals can best be summarized in this way: Meierdiercks wants to keep doing what she is doing, offering the highest possible level of client service.

Perhaps, more personal is her desire to assist in the opening of a special school in Cincinnati—one directed at helping young kids who have Autism / Asperger’s. This is an issue that is close to her heart, as her own adopted brother has this condition and she has witnessed how it affects his life and the entire family. She would truly love to play a role in raising the funds to open a school that helps kids overcome their handicaps even as they work toward becoming self-sufficient, contributing adults.

Meierdiercks believes very strongly that kids who have this condition are highly intelligent, unique and have much to offer the world—yet right now, their needs are underserved. She hopes to see changes in the not-so-distant future, and to play a role somehow.

Cyndia Meierdiercks has a number of other personal goals, as well. She would love to retire one day and she looks forward to seeing her family continue to grow. She loves to travel, especially to exotic beach destinations and other warm climate places. She hopes to visit more of these places in the years to come—preferably with her husband of 30 years and their children!
