Brendan Brown is a strategically-focused creative leader, fascinated with the convergence of emerging technology and culture, and passionate about changing the way people connect with brands through innovation, insight and instinct.
As a Creative Strategist, I help my clients get from "here" to "there". I take pride in my mental labor; lifting heavy thoughts, deconstructing complex problems and cobbling together unconventional solutions.
I believe the first step in building a sound strategy begins in critically assessing the current situation. Where are we? How did we get here? Where do we want to be and why? What stands in between here and there?
With a clear understanding of where we are going and the obstacles we will face, we can then begin to develop a well-balanced strategic approach, leveraging the necessary tools and a creative instinct, consumer understanding and data-driven insights.
Leveraging an expert understanding of emerging technology and digital trends, our approach is filtered and applied.

People are often surprised to learn I was raised an only child. I suppose this is a compliment? With plenty of time to think and explore as a kid, I found company in observation and comfort in the figuring out of people and things. My curiosity in such "inner-workings" soon found a natural home in music. (A slew of regrettably-named high school bands ensued.)
I've always believed that songs exist long before they are written. As a composer I've always loved the process of discovering a song's pieces one-by-one and the tedious assembly that followed in restoring what was always meant to be. Having spent the better half of a decade as a professional musician, I got to experience many incredible things, (from sharing a dressing room with MC Hammer to touring Australia by plane) however what I enjoyed the most were those rare moments when all of the song's moving layers finally fell into place, connecting us all.
I exchanged vows, made life and experienced a vicarious joy stronger than my own. I chose to be a Dad. Knocked doors, sold vacuums and paid bills. I told better stories, connected product to emotion and learned about psychology and selling. Got recruited, corporately trained, bought ties and a home. Grew restless, moonlighted, cut the corporate (and another umbilical) cord. I packed a lot of life into 29 years.
Each step of the way I’ve been a collector, gathering all the skills, experiences and knowledge I could get my hands on and brain around. Today, I combine this unique background with the passions and principles that have always inspired me, to do great work.
