Hycor Biomedical can help doctors answer the age old question, "What seems to be the problem?" The company makes medical diagnostic products and sells them in the US and abroad. Hycor's KOVA urinalysis system, which enables labs to perform uniform microscopic and chemical analyses of urine specimens, is used in applications including kidney disease and pregnancy testing. Using its enzyme immunoassay (EIA) technology, the company also produces the HYTEC allergy diagnosis system and related chemical reagents and assays, as well as AUTOSTAT kits for detecting rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune diseases. Hycor Biomedical is held by private equity firm Linden LLC.
