Though Red Rocks Credit Union was originally chartered in 1979, we officially opened our doors on Valentine?s Day, 1980. Maybe this is the reason we care so much about the relationships we build. In fact, strong relationships are the foundation of everything we do here. Thirty-six years ago, employees of Martin Marietta (now Lockheed Martin) pooled their money as a way to serve one another. They trusted each other and wanted to ensure their futures were strong by coming together. Today, that same principle of serving a small, local community through a concern for one another continues to drive everything we do here. We?ve added a few principles like convenience, transparency, and simplicity, but it?s all founded in one idea: care and concern for our community.
