This company hopes to make a few bucks by putting tropical refreshment in a cup. Bahama Buck's Franchise Corporation operates a chain of more than 20 franchised frozen treat stands under the name Bahama Buck's Original Shaved Ice Company. The outlets, located mostly in Texas and Arizona, offer more than 90 flavors of shaved ice desserts and blended smoothie drinks, including Bahama Rama Mama, Peach Flamingo, and Super Sour Raspberry. The chain's outlets are typically closed on Sundays to allow employees a day for worship or to spend with their families. CEO Blake Buchanan started Bahama Buck's in 1990.
