Saladworks operates a chain of more than 100 mostly franchised quick-service restaurants that specialize in salads, including specialty items such as the Bently and Sophies Salad. The menu also features hot and cold sandwiches, wrap-style sandwiches, and soups. In addition to dine-in seating, some of the eateries offer online ordering for take-out and delivery service. Saladworks has restaurants mostly in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. A former country club chef, CEO John Scardapane started the chain in 1986.
