AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts (AAC) is a leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS, advocating at the city, state, and federal levels for fair and effective AIDS policies, conducting cutting edge HIV prevention programs, and providing health and wellness services to people already living with HIV. Founded in 1983, AIDS Action is New England?s largest AIDS service organization. AAC takes a comprehensive approach to HIV prevention and care. We work face to face with the people most impacted by HIV. We understand their complex needs and how these needs impact their health, and we channel this information to public officials and politicians who make life-changing policy and funding decisions. In 2013, AIDS Action Committee announced a historic partnership with Fenway Health that will improve delivery of care and services to people living with HIV/AIDS. The new partnership will also strengthen advocacy, prevention and research efforts at both organizations. Mission:?AIDS Action Committee's mission is to stop the epidemic and related health inequities by eliminating new infections, maximizing healthier outcomes for those infected and at risk, and tackling the root causes of HIV/AIDS.
