Forty years ago, Dr. George Brown, a radiation oncology specialist at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, came to Austin with the dream of bringing state-of-the-art cancer care and cutting-edge capabilities closer to home. He built the group that would become Austin Cancer Center on his high standards, heartfelt compassion and personal dedication.
