Ellen Forte, Ph.D., a nationally-respected authority on education assessment and accountability, established edCount, LLC, in 2003 to provide a unique set of policy and technical services to state and local education agencies. Today, edCount serves educators at the state and local levels as well as researchers and policy makers across the country. We provide design and evaluation services related to assessment and curriculum and professional development services to support teachers and students in the classroom. Since its founding, our edCount organizational infrastructure has developed to intentionally facilitate responsiveness, efficiency, and quality by leveraging sophisticated business systems and multi-faceted communications within and across our projects. Our Leadership Team members collectively strategize and coordinate all aspects of our work to ensure that we offer our clients excellent value and the highest possible quality.
