Goss International always has some pressing news. The company manufactures web-offset printing presses and finishing systems for newspapers, commercial printers, and other high-volume print applications. Distribution of Goss presses, related parts, and services is driven through sales offices and plants in North America, Europe, and Asia. The company sells to newspaper publishers in more than 120 countries, including "The Asahi Shimbun" (Japan), "The People's Daily" (China), the Moscow Newspaper Printing Plant (which owns MK, Pravda and other Russian publications), and "The Financial Times" (UK). Shanghai Electric Group acquired control of Goss from investment firm Matlin Patterson Global Opportunities in mid-2010.
