Our "Housing First"? model of providing affordable housing to families and individuals as quickly as possible, along with intensive support services, is a proven way to end homelessness. Heading Homes'? programs focus on smaller home-like settings with individualized attention in the communities of Boston, Somerville, Cambridge, Malden, Medford, Everett and Quincy. Previously known as Shelter, Inc., Heading Home, Inc. was founded in 1974, and has helped thousands of individuals and families find permanent housing and economic stability.
