Retail Business Kitty Hawk Kites is the largest brick and mortar kite retailer in the United States, with more than 20 stores located along the coast of North Carolina, in addition to stores in Destin and Fort Walton Beach, Florida; Virginia Beach, Virginia; and Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Kitty Hawk Kites also operates an online store, serving customers around the world. Adventure Center Kitty Hawk Kites is also the leading outdoor adventures company on the Outer Banks. We operate the oldest hang gliding school on the East Coast and the largest school of its kind in the world. The flight school has taught more than 400,000 students how to fly with upwards of 35 instructors during the summer months. We also operate Morningside Flight Park in New Hampshire and one of the few kiteboarding resorts in America, Waves Village Watersports Resort in Rodanthe. Kitty Hawk Kites Adventure Center now offers more than 25 adventures.
