The New Belgium Brewing Company has pedaled its way to success. The company traces its origin to a bike ride through Belgium -- with its tasty brews -- that inspired the company's founder Jeff Lebesch to start the business. That jaunt is commemorated with the company's flagship product, Fat Tire ale. The Colorado brewery's other beers go by names such as Blue Paddle, Mothership Wit, and Trippel IPA, along with a series of labels under the Lips of Faith name. New Belgium distributes its beers throughout much of the US. The third-largest craft brewer in the US by sales in 2010, the company attributes its success to its "whimsical approach to business."
