W.D. Larson sees red just about every time it makes a sale. Operating out of about 15 locations in the northern US, the company sells any moving object with the red, oval Peterbilt trademark, such as over-the-road conventionals and cabovers, vocational trucks, and medium-duty pickup and delivery trucks. As a tractor isn't of much use by itself, W.D. Larson also sells trailers, including flatbeds, utility dry vans, and reefers. Some of the services offered by W.D. Larson for tractor-trailer buyers and owners are collision repair and alignment. But its business isn't driven only by Peterbilt -- it also supplies parts and service for other truck makes. Chairman William D. Larson founded the company in 1974.
