Company Profile

Binghamton University is one of the four university centers that belong to the State University of New York (SUNY) system. It offers graduate, undergraduate, and professional programs in arts and sciences, communications and public affairs, nursing, education, business, and engineering. The university enrolls approximately 14,500 students, including about 11,500 undergraduate students. There are some 550 faculty members, more than 90% of whom hold the highest degrees in their specialties. The school also offers continuing education and non-degree courses, and is taking steps to open a law school. Binghamton University was founded in 1946 as Triple Cities College in Endicott, New York. Mission: A world-class institution, Binghamton offers students a broad, interdisciplinary education with an international perspective and one of the most vibrant research programs in the nation. Ranked among the elite public universities, Binghamton challenges students academically, not financially, in its unique, best-of-both-worlds environment. Our academic culture rivals a first-rate private university — while our campus culture exemplifies the best kind of public university experience.
