Streck developed its core technology of cell stabilization in the early ’70s when blood cells were still being counted manually using microscopes. By isolating and stabilizing platelets, our scientists were able to facilitate automatic counting and develop an accurate system for calibrating platelet-counting devices. Today, Streck holds over 40 patents on more than 20 products and makes testing and reagent materials for some of the industry’s leading instrument manufacturers, such as Abbott, Siemens, and Sysmex, among others. Streck is located in America’s heartland at a 200,000-sq. ft. production facility in La Vista, Nebraska. Here, our products are manufactured and delivered to over 13,000 labs in 65 countries around the world. Mission: Streck develops and delivers quality control and diagnostic products that touch millions of lives and help validate the reputations of laboratories, hospitals and clinicians all over the world. For all of us at Streck, our job is not simply about scientific accuracy. It is just as much about responsiveness, commitment and responsibility. The result is something science alone cannot create: Trust.
