Wheaton College (IL)

Wheaton College located in Wheaton, Illinois -- not to be confused with a school of the same name in Massachusetts -- is a interdenominational Christian college. The private school offers dozens of liberal arts programs of study, including a Ph.D. in Biblical and Theological Studies, to its undergraduate and graduate students. Liberal arts programs include literature, music, fine arts, biology, economics, and psychology. Wheaton College has about 3,000 students and 300 faculty members. Wheaton College was founded in 1860 and is named after Warren L. Wheaton, who donated land to the school.
