Company Profile

Cal Poly students have more than one option, actually they have many. More formally known as California Polytechnic State University, the school offers more than 65 undergraduate degree programs, almost 30 master's programs, and one doctoral program. Founded in 1901, it offers courses in agriculture, architecture and environmental design, business, education, engineering, liberal arts, and science and mathematics. More than 19,000 students attend the university, which also is one of the largest land-holding schools in the California State University System. The not-for-profit Cal Poly Corporation runs the school's non-academic businesses such as bookstores, dining halls, and even a campus market. Mission: At Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, we believe that cultivating an environment that embraces and promotes diversity is fundamental to the success of our students, our employees and our community. Bringing people together from different backgrounds, experiences and value systems fosters the innovative and creative thinking that exemplifies Cal Poly’s values of free inquiry, cultural and intellectual diversity, mutual respect, civic engagement, and social and environmental responsibility.
