Located in the heart of The City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia University offers undergraduate and graduate degrees from its six schools which include architecture, business administration, design and media, engineering and textiles, liberal arts, and science and health. The school also offers several accelerated degree programs in several disciplines, including business and the health sciences, aimed primarily at adult learners. Founded by a group of textile manufacturers in 1884 as the Philadelphia Textile School, the school changed its name several times before receiving university status in 1999.
