Suffolk University provides a well-rounded education around the Athens of America and abroad. Its main campus is located in Boston; the university also operates branch campuses in Spain and Senegal, as well as offers degree programs at three satellite sites in Massachusetts. The university provides undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than 70 areas of study through the College of Arts and Sciences, Sawyer Business School, and Law School. Some 8,900 students attend the private university, which offers courses taught by about 880 faculty members. The university was founded in 1906 as the Suffolk School of Law. Students from all 50 states and more than 100 countries around the globe attend the university.
