B&R tours feature luxury accommodations (hotels, chateaux, villas, and lodges); food and wine experiences range from gourmet picnics in vineyards to dinners in Michelin three-star restaurants. B&R offers packaged guided tours for adults and for families traveling with children; it also has a unit specializing in custom tour packages. The company was founded in 1966 by husband and wife George and Martha Butterfield and her brother Sidney Robinson; it continues to be controlled by the founders.
