Luther College is an independent liberal arts school offering undergraduate and graduate programs to about 2,500 students from about 35 states and 40 countries. (The bulk of its students hail from Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.) The college provides more than 60 majors and professional certificate programs. Luther College is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and was founded in 1861 by the Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church.
