Our business runs on the intersection of five disruptive technologies – the Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. Harnessing these technologies, we’ve created The Ocado Smart Platform, Ocado’s end-to-end solution designed to power all aspects of online retail business. Our platform is a powerful tool for bricks-and-mortar retailers looking to leapfrog their competition and do online retail scalably, sustainably and profitably. We have over 1,000 experts in four countries to make sure that everything we develop doesn’t just run smoothly, it disrupts the biggest competitors in our industry. We have created a scalable and sustainable innovation factory, with a proven track record of success, to disrupt not only our competitors but also ourselves. Mission: In our warehouses, the largest and most evolved of their kind in the world, swarms of robots move across a giant grid. They collaborate to gather groceries stored in bins stacked beneath. Thousands of robots can pick a typical 50 item order in around five minutes. Ocado is now signing deals for its Ocado Smart Platform with some of the largest grocery retailers around the world. These include: Morrisons; ICA, Groupe Casino, and Bon Preu Group in Europe; Sobeys in Canada; and Kroger in the States.
