Purdy's is solid chocolate. The company is the second largest chocolate retailer in Canada (behind #1 Laura Secord). Purdy's Chocolates owns some 50 confectionery stores located throughout British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. Its most popular product is a hedgehog-shaped hazelnut and chocolate candy. Looking beyond the usual chocolate-gifting holidays like Christmas, Easter, and Valentine's Day, Purdy's makes specialty chocolates to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
