Since 2008, Sugar Hill Capital Partners (SHCP) has rethought and restored over 100 residential buildings in New York City, many built over a century ago. As a design-led firm, SHCP seeks out buildings with historic character and original craftsmanship, giving them new life for the next century. The restorations are not only aesthetic but also environmentally conscious: SHCP creates energy efficiencies across fuel, water and electricity to save gallons of fuel, drips of water, and everything in between. Beyond the buildings, they focus on giving back to the local art community through gallery shows, public art installations, and by offering affordable space to artists as part of their Studio Program.
