CodaOctopus Products has tentacles that plumb the depths for data. The company provides hardware and software systems that are used in such tasks as marine geophysical surveying and seabed mapping, motion sensing and positioning, and real-time 3-D acoustic imaging. CodaOctopus also offers services such as consulting, data processing and transcription, system service and repair, and training. Its systems are used by marine survey companies, academic and research institutions, navies, and defense organizations around the world. The company was formed by the 2002 merger of Coda Technologies and Octopus Marine Systems; two years later, CodaOctopus was acquired by Octopus Group.
