Van Lanschot looks out for the big shots. The bank specializes in serving wealthy individuals (under the Van Lanschot Kempen brand) and institutional investors, as well entrepreneurs and their businesses. Services include private banking, asset management, business banking, and corporate finance and securities. Van Lanschot is increasingly focusing on private banking and is selling its institutional healthcare portfolio to Bank Nederlandse Gemeenten. Operating more than 40 branches in the Netherlands and Belgium, it also provides private banking services in Curaçao, France, Luxembourg, Spain, and Switzerland. Founded in 1737, Van Lanschot is the oldest independent bank in the Netherlands.
