Investment firm Wedbush Capital Partners provides private equity funding to small- and midmarket companies in several industries. Initial equity investments range from $2 million to $10 million and take the form of recapitalizations, growth capital, or management buyouts. Target industries include business services, consumer products, and manufacturing. The firm takes both lead and follow-on roles in investing; since 1988 it has invested in more than 80 companies. Wedbush Capital Partners, which has $120 million in committed capital, is affiliated with Wedbush Securities, which provides brokerage and research services. Both entities are controlled by Wedbush, Inc.
