It's A Grind

Serving one cup of coffee after another is no grind to this company. It's A Grind Coffee operates and franchises more than 100 coffee houses in California and about a dozen other states. The chain serves a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and baked goods -- it even has a decaf kid's menu. In addition to food and beverages, the outlets sell whole-bean coffee and related items. While it's only present in a dozen states, franchises are offered in the rest of the country. Company president Marty Cox opened the first location with his wife Louise Montgomery in 1994; they sold the company to Praise International North America in 2009.
