Since 1865, Lawrence Hall has been delivering quality care to children and their families throughout the metropolitan Chicago area, many of whom have experienced significant trauma in their lives. The agency has not only sustained itself for the duration, but it has also redefined how youth are educated and treated. Lawrence Hall continues to excel and has earned its place as a statewide leader in highly-effective, evidence-based, and innovative therapeutic treatment. The agency's unique continuum of care --which promotes overall well-being-- combined with an expert staff, has positioned Lawrence Hall to meet the changing and complex needs of children and families for the next 150 years. Mission:?Lawrence Hall is a community based service agency embracing at-risk youth and their families by instilling resilience, healing and changing lives for good. We support our mission with an annual budget of $20-$22 million derived from government grants and contracts, private support, and allocations from the United Way of Chicago and Episcopal Charities.
