Cintara is in the business of creative naming, hence the branding of its own name: "cincture" meaning "to surround something" and "tara" meaning "excitement." The privately-owned marketing agency provides a full range of services, from advertising and product placement to public relations and strategic marketing. Cintara tailors taglines and slogans, builds tradeshow kiosk displays, and creates website demos for companies in almost every major industry, including Amtrak, Apple Computers, BellSouth, Golds Gym, Hyatt Corporation, Symantec, and United Cerebral Palsy. Cintara began in 1982 with a focus on graphic design and corporate identity.
