Public Health Trust

The Public Health Trust of Miami-Dade County looks out for the sun-baked citizens of South Florida. The trust operates the Jackson Health System (JHS), which is comprised of its flagship facility Jackson Memorial Hospital, Holtz Children's Hospital, a rehabilitation hospital, a mental health hospital, two community hospitals, four primary care centers, about 15 school-based clinics, two long-term care nursing facilities, and an outpatient diagnostic center. Jackson Memorial Hospital has roughly 1,500 beds and offers a wide variety of services, including burn treatment, trauma, pediatrics, rehabilitation, obstetrics, and transplants. It is also a teaching facility for the University of Miami School of Medicine.
