Maggi's goal in life is to make a positive difference. Believing that education is the key to achieving that objective, she has devoted herself to various forms of teaching. Maggi was the first white teacher to integrate the all-black school system in Durham NC. When she moved to Florence SC, she developed two firsts for its public school system: the itinerant learning disabilities program and a class for emotionally disturbed male juvenile delinquents.

Maggi Hall loves being part of these animals lives. Hall's family and friends all pitch in all throughout the year just to show her they love her passion.
Training dogs to be emotional support therapy brings Hall to new levels of satisfaction in her life.

Maggi founded and directed two educational institutions, the Marion County Museum and the Fork Retch Environmental Education Center. While with the museum, she also directed South Carolina’s Rural Arts’ Program for Marion County.

Maggi Hall hopes to continue bringing hope and love to many individuals and families through her programs. Which in turn the hope for the future of these animals will be a bigger, better and brighter life.

Founder and Director , United States , LocationMarion SC , Received state and federal grants to restore a two-story 4,000 SF 1886 Academy Building listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the longest operating public school in SC. As a volunteer for four years, collected, conserved hundreds of artifacts, restored the building. Took a leave of absence from teaching to create the museum’s educational outreach program and pursue permanent funding. Budget: $250,000. It remains in operation today.
